THE BIGGER PICTURE
As per Record Portugal, Man Utd's chosen replacement for Casemiro is Neves, who has had a breakout season with Benfica and is very highly rated by the Portuguese club and Ratcliffe's entourage. As per the report, Man Utd could offer a sum over €100 million (£86.1m/$107.7m) which is close to what Benfica expect as compensation.

DID YOU KNOW?
Casemiro has become a shell of his former self at Old Trafford and his form has kept on falling with the progression of his stint. In Man Utd's last match, a 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, Casemiro was dribbled past eight times, a record this season in the Premier League as per WhoScored.com.

WHAT NEXT FOR THE DUO?
With their seasons all but over, Neves and Casermiro will definitely be turning their attention towards the Euros and Copa America respectively. A good performance for Neves in the competition could see Benfica raise his asking price further this summer.
